Inspirational Chimes

Anybody who is faithful, or simply loves the beauty of the ringing church bells, can find something to love in Woodstock’s Inspirational Chime collection. The church bells ring out, echoing over the towns and cities, calling all the faithful to Vespers. The Vespers, from the Latin for vesper, is the evening prayer service for the Roman Catholic Church, the Byzantine Church, and the Eastern Orthodox Church. Other denominations, such as the Anglican and Lutheran Churches have also adopted the term for their evening service. The rich sound of the ringing bells is a simple reminder of the beauty of the Vespers service, and Woodstock has drawn on that powerful moment to create the Woodstock Vesper Chime, offered in the Woodstock Inspirational Chimes collection, a wind chime especially tuned to sound like the distant ringing of church bells.

The Vesper Chime is only one part of Woodstock’s Inspirational Chimes. The Inspirational Chimes collection also include a series of four Amazing Grace chimes, tuned to the opening measure from the famous Christian hymn. The Sign of Faith Chime, another sweet sounding member of the Inspirational Chimes collection, is tuned to the last six notes of the beloved hymn, “Fairest Lord Jesus”.
